Extremely well presented example of the first, and arguably prettiest, of the highly successful collaborations between Donald Healey and Austin of England. An older restoration, but still in exceptional condition, nonetheless. The arrow-straight, corrosion and accident-free body is resplendent in a very sporting, two-tone combination of Old English white over Guards red with black leather interior.
The sturdy 2.6 litre engine fires quickly and smoothly and pulls cleanly through its power range with ease. The three-speed, fully synchromeshed transmission shifts precisely and new chrome wire wheels and tires ensure that it cruises sweetly on the open road.
Lower the windshield to its devilishly rakish lowest extent, don your goggles and silk scarf and enjoy one of the most exhilarating expressions of fifties motoring.
